What you will do

• Build, install, and troubleshoot complex computer and network systems independently and as part of a team.
• Perform racking, cabling, software installation, and systems verification at customer sites.
• Configure and tune software-defined solutions and Linux applications.
• Collaborate on the development of documentation and training for deployed solutions.
• Provide technical expertise to support commercial and public sector sales opportunities.
• Fully document all processes, procedures, and work performed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux server environments.
• Proficiency in Linux TCP/IP configuration, md, and lvm RAID technologies.
• Knowledge of systemd, firewalld, and kickstart installation.
• US citizenship is required for this position.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Nice to have

• Red Hat RHCSA or SUSE Certified Engineer certification.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Knowledge of software-defined storage (Ceph, Lustre) and NOS (Cumulus, Sonic).
• Experience with high-speed networks (InfiniBand, OPA) and GPUs.
• Skill with HPC provisioning systems (ClusterWare, Cobbler, xCAT, Bright) and schedulers (Slurm, PBS).
• U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.
