What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for infrastructure and platform engineering, defining standards and guiding architecture.
• Design and operate containerized infrastructure using orchestration platforms like Nomad or Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including continuous testing and deployment automation.
• Enhance reliability, scalability, and security across hybrid on-premises and Azure environments.
• Build and maintain infrastructure tooling and CLI-based automation.
• Manage observability and incident response processes using tools like Pingdom and PagerDuty.

Requirements

• Proficiency with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Experience with scripting or automation languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go.
• Experience with infrastructure in Azure, VMware, or similar hosted/cloud environments.
• Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration (Nomad or Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and incident response tooling.
• Must be local to the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of general programming languages such as C# or Javascript.
• Experience with Windows/Linux virtual environments and VM management tools.
• Proficiency with observability platforms like DataDog, Splunk, Elasticsearch, or Grafana.
• Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven environments.
