Site Reliability Engineer I (Azure)

Location: Hybrid role based in Arlington or Irving, Texas, United States, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote per week.

What you will do

• Support, prototype, configure, and operationalize hybrid and public cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and related platforms.
• Design and automate cloud governance, identity and access management, policy enforcement, security controls, and cost compliance.
• Enable infrastructure as code, automated deployments, CI/CD release processes, configuration management, and post-release validation.
• Monitor cloud platforms and services, manage incidents and requests, and provide Tier 3 automation support.
• Design and test highly available, fault-tolerant services and cloud disaster recovery failover capabilities.
• Partner with development, operations, security, provisioning, and delivery teams while contributing to technical roadmaps and peer mentorship.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in cloud computing, DevOps, and related automation disciplines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift, cloud-native and microservice architectures, distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and networking protocols.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and organizational structures; AWS and GCP knowledge is also relevant.
• Strong automation skills with Bash, Python, PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent IT experience, plus a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment sponsorship is not available, including H-1B, TN, L1, and OPT visas.

Nice to have

• Advanced job-related certifications.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
