Staff DevOps Data Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Build and maintain core infrastructure for the Federal Data Platform using Python and Go in AWS.
• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines integrating SAST (Checkov, tfsec) to prevent misconfigurations.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of hardened container golden images, including scanning and distribution.
• Own the vulnerability management lifecycle and remediate operational findings in regulated environments.
• Ensure strict adherence to FedRAMP compliance standards and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Replace manual security processes with automated, auditable pipelines to eliminate human error.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with AWS, Docker, ECS, and EKS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitLab.
• Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation and IaC security scanning tools.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Go, or similar backend languages.
• Experience with system hardening, STIGs, and vulnerability tools (Nessus, Qualys, Trivy).
• Must establish U.S. Person status as a condition of employment.
