What you will do

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions and features based on stakeholder requirements.
• Develop tooling and automation, ranging from Slack bots to game deployment systems, to reduce engineering toil.
• Drive improvements to infrastructure standards and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Mentor less experienced teammates to grow the team's technical capabilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure or tooling in large-scale environments.
• Expertise in object-oriented languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Strong experience with containers and orchestration engines like Kubernetes or Mesos.
• Proven track record in large-scale Cloud development.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and core infrastructure services.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of networking, from HTTP down to TCP/IP and routing.
• Experience working within matrixed organizations and international teams.
