What you will do

• Create high-quality, story-driven previs and postvis sequences that are production-ready.
• Translate scripts, storyboards, and concept material into clear cinematic previsualization.
• Block out scenes, cameras, and performances with a focus on composition, staging, and pacing.
• Refine shots based on creative and technical feedback to ensure clarity for downstream departments.
• Collaborate with Layout, Animation, FX, Editorial, and Postvis teams to maintain continuity.
• Participate in dailies and present work professionally to Directors and VFX Supervisors.

Requirements

• 3–8+ years of experience in previs, postvis, layout, or animation for feature film, episodic TV, or game cinematics.
• Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, camera language, shot composition, and timing.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Maya.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada.
• Must be based in North America.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with real-time engines, specifically Unreal Engine.
• Experience with motion capture, tracking tools (e.g., PFTrack), or compositing in Nuke.
• Understanding of virtual production workflows.
• Experience with ShotGrid, Maya, Unreal Sequencer, or techvis workflows.
