What you will do

• Design, build, and operate HashiCorp Vault as a service to ensure secure, highly available secrets management.
• Own the end-to-end design and execution of large-scale projects spanning 4–12 weeks.
• Ensure production-grade reliability and compliance across Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external communities to design solutions based on real-world requirements.
• Mentor other engineers, conduct code reviews, and lead interviews for junior candidates.
• Participate in on-call rotations and team planning to support product needs.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building production-grade services in Golang with strong testing practices.
• Proficiency in managing Kubernetes workloads, including networking, storage, and security.
• Experience designing reliable, scalable distributed systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and automation expertise.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience operating HashiCorp Vault at scale (PKI, Transit, KV engines, HA/DR).
• Experience with OpenShift, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform, and GitOps workflows (Argo CD/Flux).
• Deep understanding of TLS/mTLS, certificate management, IAM, and secrets lifecycle.
• Experience implementing robust observability (metrics, logging, tracing) using cloud monitoring tools.
