Location: Hybrid - Must be based in the San Francisco area (Larkspur, CA) with in-office expectations 2 days/week.

Salary: $95,000 – $110,000 + bonus + equity

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end technical SEO audits and resolve issues using Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
• Lead the GEO/AI Search strategy to optimize content for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude.
• Design and execute rigorous SEO/GEO experiments to scale organic traffic and AI citations.
• Build analytical frameworks and dashboards connecting organic activity to revenue and conversions.
• Implement on-page optimizations including schema markup and content structures tuned for LLM retrieval.
• Partner with engineering and design to ship technical SEO improvements and scale AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in SEO, growth, or organic marketing.
• Must be based in the San Francisco area and able to work from the Larkspur, CA office 2 days/week.
• Proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, and advanced spreadsheets; SQL or Python is a strong plus.
• Technical aptitude in HTML, CSS, and JS to reason about rendering and crawlability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an analytical field of study.
• Strong writing skills for both strategic briefs and high-quality content pieces.

Nice to have

• Proven experience with GEO/AI-search experiments showing measurable lift in citations.
• Expertise in AI agents and AI-orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with log file analysis, custom SEO scripting, or building internal tooling.
• A public body of work such as a blog, talks, or open-source tools.
