Salary: $103,200 — $264,300 USD

What you will do
- Lead customer onboarding, configure accounts, and customize backup policies and storage.
- Analyze environments to identify migration opportunities and align product adoption with business outcomes.
- Design protection plans and recommend software architectures across the Data Platform.
- Execute recovery simulations and deliver quarterly resilience reports using the Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM).
- Detect churn risk signals and partner with Sales on technical renewal strategies.
- Engage CISO/CIO stakeholders with clear updates on risk, status, and roadmap alignment.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery.
- Hands-on expertise in operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, and cloud platforms.
- VMCE certification (required; can be completed post-hire).
- Proven ability to synthesize technical, business, and risk signals for executive stakeholders (CISO/CIO).
Nice to have
- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) certification.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert certification.
