What you will do

• Define the technical vision and architecture for global pay, training, and career mobility services.
• Architect highly available, scalable, serverless solutions handling diverse workflows and country-specific regulations.
• Own end-to-end delivery from initial concept through design, development, deployment, and production operations.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Drive operational excellence for tier-one services, owning runbooks, incident response, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with PM-T and stakeholders to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software development (non-internship).
• Proven track record as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Extensive experience in system architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Dublin, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, build processes, and testing.
