What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript and React.
• Create reusable UI components and frontend infrastructure to accelerate high-quality development.
• Optimize client performance, reliability, and accessibility across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate closely with designers to implement polished, user-centered interfaces.
• Partner with research and safety teams to transform model capabilities into production-ready product experiences.
• Contribute to end-to-end product planning and technical decision-making across application surfaces.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience building production web applications at scale.
• Fluency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and modern web tooling.
• Must be based in San Francisco.
• Strong product judgment and ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous environments and manage competing priorities.
• Deep care for design fidelity, accessibility, and product polish.

Nice to have

• Interest in AI/ML or direct experience in these fields.
• Former founder or early engineer experience building a product from scratch.
