What you will do

• Process clinical DNA specimens using manual and automated methods, including DNA Extraction, PCR, Array, and NextGen.
• Follow standard operating procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, and reporting of results.
• Perform routine laboratory and equipment maintenance to ensure constant operational readiness.
• Document all quality control activities, instrument calibrations, and reagent preparation.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet workload and performance metric thresholds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, laboratory science, chemistry, or biological sciences.
• Meeting CLIA, CAP, and New York State CLEP personnel standards criteria.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use hands frequently, and lift up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to pass a color vision screening.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Gaithersburg, Maryland
