AWS Team Lead, Development (AWS)

Location: Remote, United States; Austin, TX

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive program.

What you will do

• Provide technical vision, execution, and direction for AWS customer experience projects.
• Work with project managers and client product owners on discovery, requirements analysis, solution design, and sprint planning.
• Lead a team of three to four developers and make final technical decisions for projects.
• Build systems and create CloudFormation and Serverless templates to deploy AWS resources.
• Support junior developers with coding and teamwork challenges while fostering constructive collaboration.
• Study new AWS services, tools, and programming languages to address project needs and improve delivery quality and performance.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, RDS, Redshift, and VPC/network configurations.
• 10+ years of development experience, with recent focus on Node and TypeScript working with AWS services.
• Thorough knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Ability to learn quickly and stay current with AWS services and development best practices.
