What you will do

• Prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with strict group deadlines.
• Deliver detailed variance analysis and commentary to explain financial performance.
• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to provide accurate profit reporting.
• Complete VAT returns and assist with statutory reporting and external audit requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within complex or multi-entity environments.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills with experience working across multiple systems.
• Ability to interpret and explain complex financial data with high attention to detail.
• Capable of managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup based in Altrincham.
