Location: Must be based in the US (Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, or Seattle) and work from the office 4+ days per week.

Salary: $147,000 – $259,000 per year

What you will do

  • Build and deploy ML models serving millions of Snapchatters globally.
  • Apply modern ML techniques to solve large-scale, real-world problems.
  • Own the full ML lifecycle from data analysis to production deployment.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prototype and launch ML-driven features.
  • Utilize AI tools to design and ship scalable services while ensuring code correctness and security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of post-Bachelor’s ML experience, or Master's + 2 years, or a PhD.
  • Experience developing ML models for ranking, recommendations, search, content understanding, or image generation.
  • Ability to work in an office 4+ days per week at one of the specified US locations.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe2, PyTorch, Spark ML, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with ranking infrastructures and system design.
