Location: Onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Some travel within the US is required.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Configure and troubleshoot network protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and QoS.
• Monitor network performance and optimize resources to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with systems, applications, and services.
• Implement security measures to protect the network against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions to support business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
• Strong knowledge of broadcasting software and technologies, including automation systems and content management systems (CMS).
• Proficiency in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Must be based in or able to work from Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA.
• Knowledge of broadcast standards and protocols (e.g., SMPTE 2110, ATSC, FCC).
• Familiarity with MySQL, RabbitMQ, and Kubernetes.
