TL;DR
Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect (Chemical Regulatory): Partnering with sales executives to align software solutions with customer needs in the chemical regulatory domain with an accent on technical discovery and solution scoping. Location: Must be based in the US. Hybrid (3 days/week) for those local to offices in Princeton, NJ; Chicago, IL; or Northbrook, IL; otherwise remote.
Salary: Base $120,000 - $150,000 USD (OTE $170,500 - $213,000 USD)

What you will do
- Partner with Field Sales Executives to align UL software and services with customer needs through technical discovery.
- Own and execute the entire technical sales cycle to drive customer opportunities to closed business.
- Conduct product demonstrations to provide assurance of solution effectiveness and deliver ROI.
- Provide chemical regulatory expertise to scope and verify solutions based on customer requirements.
- Collaborate with technical customer personnel to communicate the detailed value of proposed solutions.
- Coordinate configuration design with Solution Architects and Software Teams based on existing IT systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, toxicology, ecotoxicology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of related experience in pre-sales or solution architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in chemical data management and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and Demo Platform software.
- US work authorization and residency required (indicated by 401k and specific US location requirements).
Nice to have
- Experience with WERCS Studio or similar application suites.
- Technical capabilities in software engineering and design architecture.
- Previous experience with MEDDIC, Command of the Message, or similar sales methodologies.
