What you will do

• Order and coordinate all graphic elements required for air.
• Oversee the airing of all graphic elements in the control room during live programming.
• Collaborate with producers to research, select, and locate necessary footage for broadcast.
• Assist producers and the anchor in compiling critical research.
• Perform fact-checking for scripts to ensure accuracy.
• Develop content for digital platforms, social media, and direct-to-consumer products.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional news production experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.

Nice to have

• Excellent knowledge of politics, history, and current events.
• Proficiency with Avid, MediaCentral, Viz, and iNews.
