Scrum Master (SAFe)

TL;DR

Scrum Master (SAFe): Driving sprint execution and progress towards program increment (PI) objectives within the Agile Release Train (ART) with an accent on delivery leadership and agile coaching. Focus on removing impediments, facilitating ceremonies, and optimizing squad performance within the Agile for hirify.global framework.

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in office), Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided). Office base: Livingston Watermark.

What you will do

• Own sprint delivery and support the squad to achieve committed PI objectives.
• Facilitate squad ceremonies and coordinate day-to-day workflow across development, testing, and release activities.
• Act as Agile Coach to drive adoption of best practices aligned with the Agile for hirify.global framework.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating to the Release Train Engineer (RTE) where required.
• Track and communicate performance metrics to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong experience within Agile teams and a solid understanding of Agile at scale.
• Proven ability to drive delivery, manage squad workflow, and remove impediments.
• Skill in facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams to improve collaboration.
• Experience managing risks and stakeholder communication in complex delivery environments.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, including testing and release processes.
• Must possess the appropriate right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Scrum Master or Squad Coach with relevant certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master).
• Background in media, telecoms, or fast-paced technology environments.
• Knowledge of Agile metrics and using data to drive improvements.
