What you will do

• Support the team in building and optimizing forecasting models through experimentation with different algorithms.
• Implement and maintain components of complex data solutions, including pipelines, orchestration, and storage.
• Perform in-depth analysis of data issues and develop systemic solutions for process implementation.
• Assist in the operation, creation, and monitoring of short-term forecasting processes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a similar technical field.
• Programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Azure technology stack (Azure Databricks, Snowflake).
• Fluency in both written and spoken German and English (minimum B2).
• Must be based in or able to work from Essen or Munich, Germany.

Nice to have

• Practical experience in creating time series forecasts and Machine Learning models.
• A good understanding of energy markets.
