Team Lead, Solutions Engineering (API)

Team Lead, Solutions Engineering (API/Integrations): Managing a team of Sales Engineers and TAMs to design and build technical integrations between hirify.global and third-party systems with an accent on API design and customer impact. Focus on leading technical discovery, optimizing automated workflows via Zapier, and scaling the professional services function.

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam Office). Must have full legal right to work in the Netherlands or the United States.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and demo presentations for high-value prospects and existing customers.
• Provide hands-on support for integrations involving public APIs, webhooks, Zapier, Google Analytics, and QuickBooks.
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of Sales Engineers and Technical Account Managers through regular 1:1s and career planning.
• Develop scalable team processes, playbooks, and onboarding resources to support growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure customer needs are reflected in the product roadmap.
• Define and document the technical sales and implementation process and create reusable technical assets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical account management, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• At least 1 year of experience managing or mentoring a technical team.
• Ability to read API documentation, troubleshoot integrations, and design complex data flows.
• Deep familiarity with integration tools like Zapier for optimizing automated workflows.
• Strong project and program management skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Full legal right to work in the Netherlands or the United States (visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not provided).
