Focus on driving product pipelines from concept to manufacturing while ensuring adherence to EU MDR and ISO 13485 standards.

Location: Hybrid (Utrecht, Netherlands)

What you will do

  • Lead and develop an international team of product technologists and engineers.
  • Drive medical device design and development projects from concept to transfer into manufacturing.
  • Manage design and design change control, technical documentation, and specification readiness.
  • Act as a senior technical partner to Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, and external manufacturing partners.
  • Manage multiple projects with clear plans, budgets, timelines, and risk management.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in medical device design and development within regulated environments.
  • Master's Degree in Industrial Design or Mechatronics.
  • Strong working knowledge of EU MDR (2017/745), ISO 13485, and risk management (ISO 14971).
  • Proven leadership experience managing international technical teams.
  • Solid understanding of enteral feeding technologies and medical plastics.
  • Must be based in or be able to work in a hybrid setup in Utrecht, Netherlands.
