TL;DR
Technical Support Engineer (Observability): Supporting the APM product suite with an accent on distributed tracing, code-level profiling, and monitoring microservices within Kubernetes. Focus on troubleshooting complex technical issues in cloud-native environments and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve intricate bugs.
Location: Dublin, Ireland. Non-traditional work week: Tuesday through Saturday. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Collaborate across teams to solve complex technical customer problems within the APM product suite.
- Address customer issues effectively using strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Support customers with installation, configuration, and data exploration for infrastructure technologies.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve intricate APM-related issues.
- Advocate for customer needs by documenting feature requests and reporting bugs to the Product Organization.
- Continuously advance technical skills through training on new infrastructure features.
Requirements
- Availability to work a Tuesday – Saturday schedule.
- Must be based in or have work authorization for Ireland (visa sponsorship not available).
- Proven experience in end-user software support via email, phone, and social media.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing application performance (APM), distributed tracing, and error profiling.
- Solid understanding of Linux-based environments, services, and permissions.
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, including microservices monitoring and sidecar patterns.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Certifications in Java, Python, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with products.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting system and application logs.
