TL;DR

SOC Support Specialist (Cybersecurity): Acting as an intermediary between partners and the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to facilitate effective service delivery and incident resolution. Focus on providing exceptional customer support, translating complex security concepts into actionable guidance, and managing high-severity incident communications.

Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom

Compensation: £35,000–£45,000 base, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

  • Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat for incident reports and SIEM-related inquiries.
  • Translate complex SOC concepts, log data, and product behavior into digestible guidance for partners.
  • Lead communication during high-severity incidents, documenting decisions and aligning on next steps.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify detection coverage and relay updates to partners.
  • Advocate for partner needs and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and internal runbooks.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United Kingdom
  • Demonstrated passion for cybersecurity, including identity compromise, phishing, and incident response.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused during high-pressure security incidents.
  • Experience facilitating group discussions and managing dynamic ticket queues.
  • Strong self-awareness and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Nice to have

  • Experience in MSP or Help Desk environments using Zendesk or PSA platforms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365/Entra, including identity and mailbox behavior.
  • Understanding of SIEM concepts, log analysis, and networking fundamentals.
