What you will do

• Coordinate other Appointed Persons (APs) on the project.
• Identify and plan lifting activities and heavy plant movements in collaboration with project managers and engineers.
• Create detailed lift plans and risk assessments for all categorized lifts.
• Ensure all lifting operations comply with LOLER, BS 7121, and specific project specifications.
• Maintain the Lifting Equipment Register and implement an inspection regime for all equipment.
• Participate in daily coordination meetings to ensure works are executed on time.

Requirements

• Experience in construction or maintenance, specifically including heavy lift experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Appointed Person (AP) duties.
• ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads / NVQ Level 3 Moving Loads certification.
• CPCS A61 Appointed Persons Lifting Operations or equivalent.
• Sound understanding of LOLER regulations and BS 7121 safe use of cranes standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Navis Works 2024.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for the preparation and review of lifting plans.
