What you will do

  • Conduct site inspections and technical assessments for subsidence and surveying cases.
  • Manage building insurance claims and maintain accurate records within the company IT system.
  • Oversee the repair phase, collaborating with Regional Technical Managers to improve service delivery.
  • Administer contracts, perform cost analysis, valuations, and prepare final accounts.
  • Ensure on-site health and safety compliance with CDM legislation and site-specific requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, policyholders, local authorities, and third-party stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Full driving licence is essential for visiting damaged properties.
  • Knowledge of building pathology, including asbestos and damp.
  • Understanding of building construction, foundation systems, and insurance law.
  • Proficiency in Planning and Building Regulations as well as CDM Regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a regional caseload.
