What you will do
- Lead global crisis response for critical material shortages, focusing on European and global suppliers.
- Act as the top escalation authority to define priorities, countermeasures, and resource allocation.
- Manage complex supplier and customer escalations across multiple commodity groups including metals, polymers, and E/E.
- Drive end-to-end bottleneck and supply constraint management to prevent production or customer downtime.
- Coordinate international cross-functional stakeholders during major supply disruptions.
- Prepare executive-level reports, scenario analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in global supply chain, procurement, operations, or escalation management (automotive or high-volume manufacturing preferred).
- Proven expertise in capacity analysis, allocation processes, and stabilization of material flows.
- Strong track record in managing complex escalations across multiple commodity groups.
- Experience coordinating international stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced MS Office.
- Fluent English required; knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus.
