Accountant (Finance)

What you will do

• Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and financial reports.
• Process journal entries in Oracle and support month-end close activities.
• Manage banking and treasury tasks, including stop payments and cash balancing.
• Reconcile AP/AR payments, vendor invoices, and premium transactions using Excel and Access.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles.
• Collaborate with auditors for year-end audits.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of accounting or related experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and basic financial reporting.
• Must be based in the US (Preferred: AZ, CO, FL, ID, KS, MO, or TX).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
