What you will do

• Provide expert legal guidance on U.S. regulatory expectations, specifically regarding crypto, AML, sanctions, securities, and commodities laws.
• Coordinate with the Legal Department and management on regulatory litigation and relationships with U.S. government bodies.
• Advise on responses to regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with U.S. regulatory agencies to ensure effective communication.
• Partner with internal compliance, risk, and business teams to address sensitive legal matters within the U.S. jurisdiction.
• Monitor and advise the business on evolving U.S. regulatory developments and associated risks.

Requirements

• Expertise in litigation and contentious regulatory matters involving FinCEN, SEC, CFTC, OFAC, or state regulators.
• Strong practical knowledge of U.S. AML and sanctions compliance programs.
• Deep understanding of U.S. financial products (spot, margin, futures, options) within the crypto industry.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills for conveying complex legal concepts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
