What you will do

• Design and own enterprise cloud architecture across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and hybrid environments.
• Develop architecture documentation, network diagrams, and ATO supporting artifacts aligned to NIST RMF, ICD 503, and FedRAMP.
• Define and enforce cloud security standards including Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and IAM.
• Lead cloud migration planning and execution for on-premise workloads.
• Establish Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
• Mentor cloud engineers and DevSecOps practitioners while establishing cloud governance frameworks.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 4 years designing solutions for DoD, IC, or federal government programs.
• Active Secret clearance required at time of hire; TS/SCI eligibility strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government landing zone design.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and CMMC Level 2/3.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS.

Nice to have

• Experience designing Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) or multi-level security (MLS) architectures.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) and service mesh in GovCloud.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF 9/10 certifications.
