Windchill Functional Architect (Aerospace & Defense)

TL;DR

Windchill Functional Architect (PLM): Designing and architecting Windchill solutions to support US Department of War customers with an accent on business process translation, integration of enterprise tools, and system optimization. Focus on bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementations for national security readiness.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and architect custom Windchill and ThingWorx solutions, including workflows, data models, and reports.
• Translate business requirements into technical and business process solutions for government stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer SMEs and demonstrate system capabilities to new stakeholders.
• Support integration projects between Windchill and other enterprise applications.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure functionality stays in spec.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations and customizations.

Requirements

• Active U.S. national security clearance (or ability to obtain one) and U.S. Citizenship.
• PTC certifications for Windchill.
• 5-8 years of experience in Windchill application development and architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a process architect or analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another Engineering discipline.
• Proficiency with Windchill version 12 and ThingWorx version 9.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windchill version 13.
• Familiarity with US DoD Configuration Status Accounting or Provisioning processes.
• Programming skills in Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.
• Security+ Certification.
