What you will do

• Travel to OEM and tooling suppliers to resolve injection molding issues, conduct technical assessments, and validate processes.
• Analyze tooling capacity and yield issues, driving root cause corrective actions across internal and supplier factories.
• Lead risk estimation for molding defects and provide pre-estimates for molding cycle times and monthly capacity.
• Optimize molding parameters to enhance yield rates and resolve complex part defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate technical skill transfers for safe mass molding operations.
• Manage tooling size matching with injection machine tonnage and conduct critical tooling tests on-site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Polymer Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or a related major.
• Minimum 8 years of practical, hands-on experience in injection molding shops.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Deep knowledge of plastic material specifications, molding technology processes, and parameter optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD designing software and standard office tools.
• Ability to travel 40-50% to internal supplier sites and the SEA region.
