What you will do

• Define and implement global homologation requirements and certification strategies for new vehicle programs.
• Interpret complex global regulations and translate them into actionable engineering requirements.
• Plan, witness, and manage physical compliance testing including crash, emissions, and NVH.
• Act as the primary point of contact with technical services to secure type approvals.
• Author and compile technical information folders and official submission documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design for compliance and mitigate regulatory risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in global Type Approval and Homologation programs.
• Experience launching products in European and Asia-Pacific markets, including EU WVTA frameworks.
• Experience launching vehicles for North American markets (FMVSS, CMVSS, EPA, CARB).
• Deep knowledge of global vehicle certification regulatory frameworks including safety and EMI/EMC.
• Ability to travel 10-20% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• B.S. or advanced degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of consumer assessment programs like IIHS and global NCAP.
