What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and microservices using Python (Django) and React.
• Create responsive user interfaces, real-time dashboards, and configuration tools to simplify manufacturing workflows.
• Develop Python backend services to handle high-throughput parametric data streams and optimize database schemas.
• Integrate factory-floor software with internal manufacturing execution systems (MES) and hardware test stations via REST APIs and gRPC.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for deploying software to local factory edge servers or cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Hardware Test Engineers to translate physical testing requirements into maintainable software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience with a heavy focus on the Python/React ecosystem.
• Production experience with modern Python web frameworks (Django, FastAPI, or Flask) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Strong proficiency with React.js, including Hooks, state management (Redux/Context API), and TypeScript.
• Experience with Docker containerization and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Location: Must be based in Campbell, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python testing frameworks such as PyTest.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments, hardware testing, or interacting with physical lab equipment.
• Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) or data analytics pipelines.
