TL;DR

Salary: $120,000-160,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead network design process and manage existing networks.
• Collaborate with US Government network engineers and cyber/IA engineers in network setup and configuration.
• Analyze and administer the technical architecture of Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.
• Troubleshoot, isolate problems, restore service, and determine root cause.
• Design and implement complex solutions.
• Investigate and recommend security products with a focus on integration of management and monitoring platforms.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of Network Engineering experience.
• Proficient in Cisco network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures utilizing Cisco products.
• Advanced knowledge with TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN/mGRE.
• Experience using network Performance/Load testing tools.
• Must be able to diagnose and resolve network hardware and software problems associated with the data center infrastructure.
• Experience with documenting Network Designs.
• Experience performing site surveys/ PITCO evaluations on equipment and SOVts.
• Experience as a systems administrator for various operating systems.
• Experience with VMWare.
• Experience with COMSEC.
• Ability to create documents for use in training operations personnel.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout employment.

Nice to have

• Active CCNP, CCNP Security, or CCIE.
• Skilled in implementing network security solutions including firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
• Familiarity with Cyber Security Tools like Splunk, Vectra Networks, Security Onion.
• Deep understanding of IPSEC and 802.1X.
• Familiarity with Virtualization platforms involving Network Function Virtualization and VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Should be well-versed with all aspects of project management such as team building, staff training and scheduling.
