Simulation Integration Engineer – Software-In-Loop (SiL) Controls Integration and Simulation Development (Automotive)

TL;DR

Simulation Integration Engineer (SiL Controls): Developing and integrating full-vehicle cross-functional co-simulation packages for embedded controllers with an accent on virtual verification and validation. What you will do

• Lead the integration of full-vehicle cross-functional co-simulation packages for embedded controllers.
• Collaborate with teams across Propulsion Engineering, VMEC, and EPSI to deploy simulation projects.
• Integrate plant and ECU models with controller source code to perform virtual system verification.
• Develop, parameterize, and test virtual controller models for HWIO, RTOS, and controller I/O.
• Design and execute automated test suites and perform simulation correlation based on experimental data.
• Maintain standard simulation architectures and provide troubleshooting support for released simulations.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in simulation integration.
• Adept experience with MATLAB, Simulink, GMSim, and ECU behavioral models.
• Experience with embedded controls software and AUTOSAR architectures.
• Familiarity with automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet) and programming in C/C++ and Python.
• Must have US work authorization; immigration sponsorship is not provided for this role.

Nice to have

• MS in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• SAFe certification.
• Familiarity with version control (Git, SVN, TFS) and SDM systems (TeamCenter, RTC).
• Experience with GCC compiler, gdb debugger, Eclipse, and ETAS INCA tools.
