What you will do

• Lead an international team of product designers shipping features and integrations within the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Operate as a player/coach, balancing team development with hands-on design work and problem-solving.
• Mentor designers through rigorous critique, pairing, and stretch assignments to raise the overall quality bar.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to set strategic direction and manage technical tradeoffs.
• Establish and represent design leadership within the growing London office.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into the design workflow to increase team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in London, UK
• 5+ years of product design experience with a proven portfolio of shipped impact.
• 1-2+ years of experience managing other designers.
• Experience shipping AI-powered or AI-adjacent features.
• Fluency in modern design tools including Figma and various prototyping tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership and engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with conversational interfaces, voice UI, or automation workflows.
• Proficiency in front-end code or AI-assisted development to pair effectively with engineers.
• A deliberate transition from a strong individual contributor role into management.
