What you will do

• Drive the development of semiconductor equipment systems, including Laser Annealing and other product lines.
• Develop concepts and lead the design and testing of components such as gas sensing, precision motion, vacuum, and thermal systems.
• Define system specifications and input/output requirements for hardware/software compatibility.
• Execute experimental test plans to validate system performance and analyze results.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify and resolve system output signal issues.
• Conduct structured risk assessments using FMEA/FMECA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Engineering field with 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree.
• Proven experience in designing and executing test plans.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems with limited data.
• Ability to collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software engineers.
• Basic scripting skills for problem-solving or functionality verification.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor or a similar industry.
• Knowledge of laser systems theory, alignment, and design.
• Experience with electromechanical systems (motors, electronics, boards).
• Knowledge of thermal systems, control loops, and feedback.
• Experience with optical metrology systems.
• Familiarity with product development and requirements validation processes.
