Salary: $260,000 – $280,000

What you will do

• Design and build a shared GenAI platform including LLM orchestration, prompt management, and RAG pipelines.
• Develop self-serve interfaces and golden paths to enable product teams to ship AI features without deep AI expertise.
• Drive projects from architecture through production deployment, ensuring latency, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with product engineers, PMs, and data teams to define the GenAI roadmap and AI capabilities.
• Apply engineering rigor to AI platforms, including versioning, SLAs, monitoring, and deprecation paths.
• Utilize extensive fitness and geo datasets to extract actionable insights and power novel athlete experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating complex, production AI or backend systems at scale.
• Demonstrated experience building AI platform tooling or developer-facing infrastructure for LLM/ML systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs in production, including agentic workflows, RAG, and evaluation frameworks.
• Proficiency in search systems such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Vector Search.
• Strong backend development skills in Python or Go with experience in cloud environments (AWS) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong technical leadership with the ability to lead multi-team projects and mentor engineers.
