What you will do

• Architect and train large-scale, onboard ML perception models critical for vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
• Engineer robust, high-reliability training pipelines within a dynamic, rapid-delivery environment.
• Design novel, custom architectures from first principles to solve complex perception challenges.
• Leverage deep computer vision expertise to implement real-time model distillation and quantization.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of applied industry experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or complex ML systems.
• Fluency in Python or C++ with hands-on expertise in PyTorch or Jax.
• Proven experience with model distillation frameworks and quantization techniques.
• Demonstrated experience building, training, or deploying Multimodal Foundation Models or Vision-Language Models (VLMs).

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
• Experience managing large-scale teacher-student training loops.
• Track record of deploying Vision-Language queries in constrained, real-time environments.
• Expertise in distributed training, PEFT, or RLHF for foundation models.
• First-author publications in premier conferences like CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, or ECCV.
