What you will do

• Define the architecture, patterns, and product strategy for AI-driven agentic systems.
• Lead the development of multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, and evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic systems.
• Write high-impact code while mentoring and multiplying the effectiveness of the engineering organization.
• Solve ambiguous, high-leverage technical problems where the path forward is not yet defined.
• Set engineering standards for AI coding tools, production reliability, and agent evaluation.
• Collaborate directly with the CTO and Co-founder to shape the long-term AI product surface.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend development experience with a strong track record in production systems at scale.
• Deep, hands-on experience shipping LLM-based products or agentic systems in production.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to align technical decisions with business outcomes.
• Proven technical leadership in shaping architecture and growing engineering teams.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and solve complex, undefined problems.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to write clear design documentation.
