Systems Engineer III (Infrastructure)

TL;DR

Systems Engineer III (Infrastructure): Designing and documenting secure and non-secure telephone, video, and data network systems for SSFB organizations with an accent on ISP/OSP backbone cabling and hardware installation. Focus on creating technical solutions for NIPR/SIPR systems, performing physical site surveys, and maintaining infrastructure records in Phoenix and CIPS databases.

Location: 100% on-site in Colorado Springs, CO

What you will do

• Develop technical solutions for NIPR, SIPR, and Red Switch systems, including copper and fiber optic connectivity.
• Conduct physical and virtual surveys of communications pathways, server farms, and telecommunications hubs.
• Maintain physical topologies and architecture records within Phoenix and CIPS databases.
• Provide design support for MOAs, MOUs, and SLAs regarding Schriever AFB circuits.
• Perform implementation engineering, coordination, and solution installation support.
• Coordinate with government agencies and other contractors to ensure integration with DoD architectures.

Requirements

• Must maintain a current TS/SCI clearance and hold U.S. citizenship.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in enterprise systems design and implementation.
• Proficiency with Visio and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Inside/Outside plant (ISP/OSP) and cable databases such as Phoenix and CIPS.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 2-3 years of project management experience.
