Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)
Salary: $257,370 – $308,844 CAD base + RSUs

What you will do
- Develop and own the product vision and strategy for Data Collection, Transformation, and Ingestion as a core platform capability.
- Lead the strategy for the telemetry journey, including OpenTelemetry SDKs and Grafana Alloy.
- Manage and coach a team of Product Managers to strengthen their strategic thinking and product judgment.
- Define how AI influences the domain, specifically regarding instrumentation, cost control, and intelligent troubleshooting.
- Partner with senior R&D leaders to align technical strategy and balance customer value with operational excellence.
- Collaborate with GTM teams on product differentiation, market positioning, and pricing models.
Requirements
- Significant Product Management experience leading strategy across multiple technical teams or complex workflows.
- Proven experience directly managing, coaching, and developing other Product Managers.
- Strong technical fluency in infrastructure, cloud platforms, observability, or high-scale databases.
- Ability to identify where AI can create meaningful customer value for developers, SREs, and platform teams.
- Must be based in Canada.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or the Grafana stack (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Pyroscope).
- Background in ETL, telemetry pipelines, or large-scale data processing.
- Experience working at a commercial open-source company.
- Experience partnering with GTM teams on packaging, pricing, and launch strategy for technical products.
