TL;DR

Sound Designer (Gamedev): Creating and maintaining the audio identity for the mobile strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus with an accent on sound effects, voice-over production, and technical implementation. Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Stockholm studio (Hybrid: Tuesdays and Fridays in-office)

What you will do

• Own day-to-day audio production, including sound effects, voice-over, and marketing assets.
• Implement audio assets directly into Unity using Wwise to ensure seamless gameplay integration.
• Collaborate with developers, VFX artists, and animators to maintain a cohesive audio identity.
• Coordinate with external outsourcing partners for specialized audio tasks.
• Contribute to long-term audio planning and strategy for the game.
• Support the lead audio designer in maintaining high standards for immersion and player feedback.

Requirements

• Professional experience shipping at least two games from conception to launch.
• Proficiency in Unity and Wwise for game audio implementation.
• Strong skills in modern DAWs like Reaper for sound design, mixing, and mastering.
• Experience with voice-over production and management.
• Ability to work from the Stockholm office on a hybrid schedule.
• Fluent in English (company language).
