What you will do

• Develop and execute PCB and module-level validation plans for hardware in collaboration with EE and software teams.
• Perform electrical validation for silicon, boards, and systems, covering voltage regulators, PDN, and high-speed interfaces.
• Drive validation efforts to meet priority goals and strictly document all results and bugs.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting processes.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to enhance the efficiency and scalability of validation.

Requirements

• Experience with switching-mode power supplies and Power Delivery Network (PDN) validation.
• Knowledge of SoC/MCU-based architecture and interfaces such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Proficiency with bench equipment including oscilloscopes, DMM, e-load, and thermal chambers.
• Ability to use schematic and PCB layout tools for circuit review and test planning.
• Proficiency with Linux, Bash, and test script generation for data processing.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Mountain View, California.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience validating complex domains like Analog circuits, PCIe, LPDDR, MIPI, or Ethernet.
• Strong understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) concepts.
• Experience with hardware/firmware verification and CSR tuning.
