What you will do

  • Design and maintain network architecture diagrams and centralized demonstration labs.
  • Resolve SNMP, Flow, and API monitoring issues and map new devices via YAML files.
  • Perform root-cause analysis using packet tools like Wireshark and telemetry data to detect anomalies.
  • Develop scripting and automation solutions using Python or Ruby to improve testing efficiency.
  • Implement effective security protocols and data protection measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to drive technical strategies for network observability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced understanding of OSI/TCP-IP models, protocols (HTTP, DNS, ARP, ICMP), and network architecture (VLANs, subnets, NAT).
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (LiveNX, SolarWinds) and traffic simulation tools (Ixia, Spirent).
  • Proficiency in Python programming, SNMP, and Netflow.
  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with API-based configuration and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of OpenTelemetry and Linux.
  • Proficiency with Wireshark.
