What you will do

• Define and maintain design systems, patterns, and components that work consistently across product surfaces.
• Frame ambiguous problem and opportunity spaces into actionable design directions.
• Design end-to-end user flows, from high-level architecture to detailed interaction and visual design.
• Prototype and validate ideas quickly using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate exploration.
• Review and critique design work across the team, providing specific and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design intent is preserved during delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a product designer or in a similar role.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end product experiences and scalable components/patterns.
• Fluency with AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows in day-to-day practice.
• Experience working in fast-moving product teams with short iteration cycles.
• Legal right to work in Portugal without the need for visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
• Strong ability to communicate design decisions clearly to non-design audiences.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the specific product domain or industry.
• Experience running or contributing to user research and usability testing.
• Working knowledge of front-end constraints and implementation considerations.
• Experience owning a design system at an organizational scale.
