Senior Network Engineer (Telecom)

Location: Remote within Ukraine (Lviv mentioned)

What you will do

• Provide second-line support for SMS, MMS, and SMS Firewall services.
• Optimize internal and external operational processes to improve repair efficiency.
• Manage network and service availability through proactive and reactive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Customer Care to identify and resolve reported client problems.
• Coordinate and lead the repair team squad activities when required.
• Perform incident management activities and participate in planned network works.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in telecom, focusing on Messaging, Signaling, or Roaming.
• Strong knowledge of SS7 / SIGTRAN, LTE, GSM call flows, and roaming scenarios.
• Good operational knowledge of Linux.
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) level required.
• Location: Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or ICT.
• Experience with HTTPS (APIs), MMS, Kibana, or Openmind software.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, CI/CD, AWS, or Splunk.
• Scripting skills in Python.
