Senior System & Network Engineer

Location: Paris, La Défense, France; hybrid work setup

Annual base salary: €63,000–€69,000, depending on experience

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and maintain on-site servers, network equipment, workstations, and production infrastructure.
• Ensure the availability and high availability of critical systems across data center and third-party environments.
• Manage security protocols aligned with industry standards, including ETSI EN 319 401.
• Support system administration for the Certificate Authority and Time Stamping Authority.
• Monitor system performance, resolve incidents, and ensure rapid recovery of affected services.
• Develop and maintain backup, monitoring, self-recovery, technical documentation, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT, networking, or systems administration and at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Debian Linux, VMware, Proxmox, Nutanix, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and physical servers.
• Experience with infrastructure orchestration and automation using Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Datadog.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
• Strong organization, troubleshooting, reliability, proactive problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills.
