What you will do

• Lead production consultancy services and ensure strict compliance with BBC Editorial Guidelines and standards across all international productions.
• Manage and evolve Production Bibles for TV formats to safeguard brand integrity while allowing local creative flexibility.
• Drive commercial performance by improving production margins through cost control, scalable workflows, and smart planning.
• Identify and implement production synergies, shared resources, and tax incentives across the global network.
• Lead AI innovation by piloting and scaling AI tools for scripting, casting, scheduling, and compliance review.
• Manage senior relationships with creative, legal, finance, and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive senior-level experience in television production across multiple genres and international markets.
• Proven track record of delivering complex productions on time, on budget, and with strong margin performance.
• Experience supporting local teams within global production networks across diverse territories.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance creative ambition with financial discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving operational change and standardization at scale.
• Deep understanding of editorial guidelines and compliance frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with format-based productions and maintaining production bibles.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI or advanced production technologies in broadcast.
• Experience in post-merger integration or scaling international production operations.
• Knowledge of international regulatory environments and broadcaster delivery requirements.
